Replace current Alumni News with two sections:

TCM Spotlights:
1. Display the latest 6 posts (3 columns x 2 rows) from “TCM Spotlights” Category.
2. Display the first row with the post’s Feature image. Not to display Featured image on the 2nd row.
3. Create a shortcode for this section.
4. More button link: TCM Spotlights page https://alumni-staging.fivebranches.edu/tcm-spotlights/
5. Responsive display: Desktop 3 cols, Tablet 2 cols, Snartphone single col
Alumni Tales:
1. Display the latest 6 posts (3 columns x 2 rows) from “Story Sharing” form entries.
2. Display the first row with the post’s Feature image. Display without Featured image on the 2nd row.
3. Create a shortcode for this section.
4. More button link: Story Sharing page

Create “Homepage Sidebar” in Widget are for editors to maintain.
Push Sidebar below Main Content when Tablet is on its Portrait screen mode.

To Fix: Align the dot lines

To Fix: Display Title "as is" without truncating or limiting its length

To Fix: load small size image to display for Alumni Tales

The loaded image for TCM Spotlights is acceptaable.

But the loaded image for Alumni Tales is not acceptable. It loads the full size image and resize to a smaller one. That’s a waste to web server resource.

Homepage: Change the Chinese Date format on News section of Chinese site

Currently the Date format is: Day Month, Year

It should be: Month Day, Year

Just switch the position (or order) of current Day and Month.

Retrieve the latest posts as featured posts on the homepage

Instead of retrieving Post ID from FBU settings,

retrieving the latest post of the corresponding Category as the Featured Post for the Homepage.

Both English and Chinese sites have their own latest posts. So retrieve correctly on each language.

Fix: Events Section hour info display error

The Events Section on the Homepage should be based on the Timezone set up in the WordPress General settings which is “Los Angeles“

Currently the hour info displayed on the Homepage is different from the hour info entered in the Events.

Not to display the hour info if the Event is a whole day event.

Remove the redundant slider button widgets

The content of buttons in slider section on the homepage is defined in Slider plugin.

The Elementor button widgets currently on the Homepage is not needed.

Remove those button widgets in the slider section.

This is where the buttons are defined or updated in the Slider plugin UI.

These are Elementor button widgets that are not needed, and should be removed.

Fix the wrong links on Homepage buttons

The links are hard-coded with developing site URLs.

Not to hard code the links, use WordPress built-in function to retrieve the proper links.

To fix:

Display issue on mobile screen

Reduce the font size of (Chinese) Month to the size of the Event Title of that Event.

Missing Date on the right column of Event section.

Make the Month and Date display just like the one on the left column.

Increase the Date font size.

Make the Month and Date display just like the one on the left column.

Set the day format to single digit. not to insert the leading 0 to it.

Fix missing desktop event block on the Homepage

Event Blocks were found missing on Homepage

It was found that the shortcode that builds the content for the desktop screen was missing.

Also, that particular shortcode relies on the Event Calendar Pro plugin; so that plugin has to be active.

After fixing those two main issues, the Event content block is back to normal.

Implement the same page structure to Chinese Homepage as the English Homepage
